Queen Victoria Market Melbourne

Queen Victoria Market is an open air market. It is a feast for the eyes and the variety of fish, meat, fruit and veg was overload for our senses. Here are just a few of the pictures to give you a better idea of what we were drooling over.
These pictures are just a small representation of the photos we took, there were many more fish stalls.
The next sections were stalls loaded with meat, cheese, fruit and vegetable.
yes here is Kangaroo meat and when cooked properly taste very sweet.
the porchetta looks good too...
this market is huge and there appears to be a better bargain around every corner.
and the UGGS are plentiful
Check out http://www.qvm.com.au/ for more information about the Queen Victoria Market and before we left we  made sure we stopped at the lebanese stall to purchase a Börek (also burek) a baked or fried filled pastry made of a thin flaky dough known as yufka (or phyllo) VERY DELICIOUS!
Tomorrow we are taking a tour of Melbourne and then getting ready for our trip to the penninsula Port Sea to the beach resort for a couple of days.
